Sul sito Rav4 World ho trovato che il clok allo sterzo e' un problema a carattere mondiale, e a quanto pare qualcuno ha scoperto la cura. Personalmente non so se funziona, non ho ancora sperimentato, ma magari, chi sa...
"Listen I know what the problem is and its pretty common on toyota's I have these come in the dealer about 2 of them a week.On the bottom of the steering colum by where it goes through the floor there is a black boot around the base of the colum the rubber boot will dry out and squeek or creak if you will.what you want to do is get some type of thick grease at toyota we have some in a tube and put it in where the colum goes in the boot just push it in ther move your wheel around a little and your good."
Traduco maccheronicamente e metto un po' di punteggiatura:
"Ascoltate, so che problema e' ed anche abbastanza comune sulle toyota, ne entrano circa due a settimana all'assistenza.
Sul fondo del piantone dello sterzo, la' dove passa attraverso il pavimento, c'e' uno stivale nero (ho tradotto letteralmente, ma magari e' una cuffia, o una scatola...). Intorno alla base del piantone lo stivale di gomma si asciughera' (indurira'?) e fara' i noti rumori. Quello che va fatto e' recuperare dalla Toyota del grasso denso, ne abbiamo un po' in un tubetto, e metterlo li' dove il piantone entra nello stivale, basta spingerlo dentro (magari siringarlo nello stivale), girare un po' lo sterzo ed il gioco e' fatto."
